MINDFREAK!

I wasn't planning on posting about this—there are depths to which I figured I wouldn't sink on my blog, after all—but Mena egged me on.

So...

I was watching Criss Angel: MindFreak the other night. And I guess this is an old episode—to my credit, I think, this is only the third time I'd watched the show—but I was watching the SUV Nail Bed episode.

In case you're not familiar with the premise: Criss and his crew constructed a nail bed with 8-inch spikes, spaced 3 inches apart. He then lay down on the nail bed, and an H2 Hummer drove over his fucking chest.

When I described this to Mena, she asked me how he accomplished this feat, and I said I didn't know, but that he'd been working out a lot, and had really strengthened his chest, so that might explain it. She told me to shut up.

Anyway, it was a pretty ridiculous episode. But the show in general is kind of interesting, because he'll do these levitating things, and teleportation things, and it really freaks me out.

BTW, the only thing better than Criss Angel: Mindfreak? Websites debating the realness of his magic (or "magic," as the case may be)!

A sample quote: "your a sad little man wanna know why because criss angel is not a wannabe". I couldn't have said it better myself!
